Buffalo Americas Is a CRN 2023 Product of the Year Finalist
Austin, TX, October 12th, 2023 – Buffalo Americas announced today that CRN®, a brand of The Channel Company, is recognizing its TeraStation 71210RH NAS as a finalist in the 2023 Product of the Year Awards in the Storage – SMB category.
The CRN Products of the Year Awards honor leading IT products and services that represent the most cutting-edge technologies in the channel today. Finalists in this year’s Products of the Year Awards represent innovative offerings that meet the ever-changing needs of the IT channel and their customers. The 2023 finalists were selected by the CRN editorial team in 33 different technology categories. The winners will be determined by a survey of solution providers who will rate the finalists across three criteria—technology, revenue and profit, and customer need—based on their real-world experience with the products.
Buffalo's flagship TS71210RH is a powerful 12-bay rackmount NAS product that runs on Intel Xeon processors and includes up to 12 pre-installed CMR hard drives for up to 240TB capacity. The NAS includes four native 10GbE ports and two PCIe Gen 4x8 slots, which enable users to expand memory up to 64GB and add NVMe SSD cache space, as well as connect SFP+/QSFP modules for 25GbE and 40GbE networking. Designed for performance and security, the TS71210RH features include two-factor authentication, AES-256 drive encryption, and a closed, inaccessible operating system for ransomware mitigation. The device is also the first from Buffalo with integrated auto-tiering to provide faster access to high-availability data.
